1、國際學(xué)生應在簽證、居留許可有效期提前至少15日辦理延期手續，辦理時(shí)間約為30日，如遇假期、考試、外出等事宜，須提前辦理延期。簽證超期停留者將受到公安機關(guān)處罰上限10000RMB。

2、國際學(xué)生入境后須在24小時(shí)內到居住地的公安派出所進(jìn)行登記，取得《住宿登記表》。變動(dòng)地址、更換護照、更換簽證或者居留許可、出境后再入境住宿、登記到期時(shí)，應當及時(shí)進(jìn)行重新登記。國際學(xué)生未及時(shí)登記或未及時(shí)重新登記，即構成非法居留。未登記導致超期者將受到公安機關(guān)的處罰上限2000RMB。

3、國際學(xué)生在華期間如出現違法違紀等行為，學(xué)校有權上報公安機關(guān)取消其在華簽證、居留許可。

4、 國際學(xué)生辦理簽證或居留許可延期時(shí)，須先交納保險費和學(xué)費。

5、國際學(xué)生在華辦理簽證和居留許可有效期不得超過(guò)學(xué)習期限。國際學(xué)生結束學(xué)習后，應當于簽證或居留許可到期前離境，否則即構成非法居留。

6、國際學(xué)生發(fā)生退學(xué)、休學(xué)的學(xué)籍變動(dòng)，辦理離校時(shí)，須向國際教育學(xué)院申請辦理停留簽證。如不按照要求辦理相關(guān)手續，國際教育學(xué)院將向哈爾濱市出入境管理局申報簽證宣廢，學(xué)生本人承擔因此而導致的全部后果。

7、學(xué)校不邀請國際學(xué)生家屬來(lái)校陪讀。家屬申請居留許可，國際學(xué)生須向國際教育學(xué)院主管老師提出書(shū)面申請，主管老師簽字同意后，出入境事務(wù)辦公室為其出具證明材料，學(xué)生家屬按照出入境管理局的要求準備其他相關(guān)材料后自行前往出入境管理局辦理延期手續。家屬居留許可的有效期不得超過(guò)國際學(xué)生居留許可的有效期限。

國際學(xué)生須提交以下紙質(zhì)申請材料：

A、國際學(xué)生本人的護照首頁(yè)復印件、當前簽證或居留許可復印件、加蓋國際教育學(xué)院公章的錄取通知書(shū)原件或復印件；

B、親屬的有效護照原件、護照首頁(yè)復印件、當前簽證頁(yè)復印件、最新入境章頁(yè)復印件；

C、國際學(xué)生及親屬住宿登記表；

D、境外人員體格檢查記錄驗證證明；

E、國際學(xué)生家屬辦理簽證申請表；

F、親屬關(guān)系證明（中文）。

備注：境外機構出具的有關(guān)證明須經(jīng)我國駐外使（領(lǐng)）館認證，如認證原件為非中文版本，須提供經(jīng)使（領(lǐng)）館或翻譯公司翻譯并蓋章的翻譯件。

8、學(xué)校依照國家法律法規及哈爾濱市出入境管理局的要求為準執行各項簽證及居留許可政策。

Important points to note

1. International students should proceed visa extension, of which the dealing period is 30 days, at least 15 days ahead of visa or residence permit expiration, especially facing holidays, examinations, and trips. Those who stay in China after the visa expires will receive penalty of maximum of 10,000 RMB.

2. International students need to register at the local police station within 24 hours of arrival in China to obtain the Registration Form of Temporary Residence. In any of the following cases, the Registration Form of Temporary Residence should be updated: 1) There is any change to the individual’s address, passport, visa or residence permit; 2) Re-entry into China from abroad; 3) The Registration Form has expired. International students who fail to register in time will be treated as illegal residents with a penalty of maximum 2,000 RMB from the public security bureau.

3. For international students who violate the laws in China, the college has the right to report to public security bureau to cancel his/her visa or residence permit.

4. When applying for a visa or residence permit extension, international students must first pay the insurance and tuition fees.

5. The validity of a visa or residence permit for an international student will not exceed the period of his/her study. After completing their studies, international students should leave China before their visa or residence permit expires. Residing in China after the expiration date of a visa or residence permit is illegal.

6. ?International students who drop out, take temporary absence or are suspended from the university must go to the College of International Education to apply for a short-term visitor visa. If students fail to cover the procedures, College of International Education will report to the Exit and Entry Administration of Harbin Public Security Bureau to declare the cancellation of their visa, and students themselves will bear all related consequences.

7. The university does not officially invite family members to accompany international students in China. In case of families applying for residence permit, students should make written application to their coordinator in College of International Education. Office of Exit & Entry Administration will provide official documents after the approval. Student’s families should prepare other required documents and apply personally in the Exit and Entry Administration of Harbin Public Security Bureau. The residence permit of student’s families will be no longer than that of the student.

International students should provide the following documents:

A. International student: photocopy of passport first page, photocopy of valid visa page or residence permit page, admission Notice with stamp of College of International Education or its photocopy

B. Student’s families: Valid passport, photocopy of passport first page, photocopy of valid visa page or residence permit page, photocopy of the page with latest entry stamp

C. International student’s and families’ Registration Form of Temporary Residence.

F. Certification for Relative Relationship (In Chinese)

8. The School proceeds all types of visa and residence permit according to the laws in China and requirements of Exit and Entry Administration of Harbin Public Security Bureau.
